Playdate with Cousins Ethan and Katelyn

Max had a playdate with some of his cousins, Ethan and Katelyn. They were watching Max's favorite show, "Jack's Big Music Show" on Nick Jr. Apparently this episode was really good! It is a rare occasion when Max will stop moving long enough to watch TV!

Birthday flowers and lunch!

My sweet friends Valentyna and Jayneann made me lunch and yummy birthday cupcakes and we had a fun time visiting! when I got to the house I saw the beautiful flowers on Jayneann's counter in the kitchen but never did I imagine that they would be coming home with me! I LOVE flowers. Thanks girls! I am blessed to have so many wonderful friends!

p.s. - I am especially enjoying them as I am stuck in the house with freezing temperatures and frozen roads outside!

Birthday Dinner

We had a birthday dinner at my In-Laws house for my birthday this year. It was fun to get together and visit. Kristin made me a YUMMY birthday cake with fresh fruit! Max loves seeing his cousins here in texas and getting to play. The funniest thing was that he sat in Nana's kitchen over in the corner and played in the cupboard where she keeps this kids dishes. He played there for almost an hour and had a ball with all the plastic dishes. Maybe I need a cupboard like that at our house!

It has been a while since I have blogged...shame on me! The end of the year was so crazy, but I am back. The new year is going to be a great one. We are looking forward to many new adventures and reaching some of the goals we have set for our little family! Here are some photos of Max taken recently. He is growing so fast and talks up a storm! He is using sentences and he is like a little parrot repeating everything he hears people say. He loves to sing, build towers with his blocks, play outside, play with his trucks, get dirty and all the things little boys love to do. He loves nursery and had no problem going in the first Sunday in our new ward. We are in the newly formed "Roanoke Ward" and although all our friends did not come with us, we are loving it! Life is great and we are soooo blessed!
