Time Keeps Flying By
how the time has flown by! So much has been
happening here in Texas. Max has a new cousin
names Ethan Jonas Myres, born to Nathan and
Kristin and he is a cutie!
We have been having so much fun watching our
little guy grow and change. He loves to smile and
laugh and play. He has become quite the little drool
monster and hopefully those teeth will come in soon!
He is such a joy to have in our family and is so
happy and content. Recently we found out he has
mild asthma and some allergies so the last couple
of days we have had to give him some breathing
treatments. We will probably have to do this every
once in a while for the next several months, but
after a couple days of treatments he feels so much
better. At his 6 month check up with the doc he
weighed in at 21.5 pounds and is 28.5 inches long!
He is right on target doing all the things he should
be doing at this age, but he is a stubborn little
guy and has decided that he does not want to roll
over yet. He can sit up by himself and thinks he
is a big boy when he stands. He loves to sing with
us when we sing songs to him and he especially
loves all the primary songs. Jesus Wants me for a
Sunbeam is his favorite one! He is quite a character
and loves to make funny faces. We are so grateful
each day for this blessing in our family!
Eric is doing great at work and loves his job. He has
actually been given the opportunity for some overtime
for which we are grateful, especially in this current
economy! He loves teaching his primary class and
they are quite a challenge...those little 7 year olds
have lots of energy! His favorite time is when he
comes home from work and Max is ready to play
with daddy and has so much to tell him about his
day.
I am loving being a mom and never imagined I could
love a little person so much! I am looking forward
to a trip this summer to California, Utah and Nevada
to visit my family and can't wait for the rest of them
to meet Max!
We are so blessed and each day try to follow the
counsel of our Church Leaders and "Find Joy in
the Journey"
