Better than Diamonds or a Million Dollars.......

After Eric left for work this morning and I went in to take my shower, this is what I found in the bathtub. It brought me tears as I stopped and took a minute to realize just how lucky I am to have such a wonderful husband!

YUMMY Chocolate Chip Cookies!

Last night I had the urge to make cookies so I made chocolate chip and we decided to let Max have a whole cookie all by himself.....YIKES! I never realized how much of a mess one little cookie could make! He had a ball getting chocolate everywhere, including rubbing it in his hair, and he ate the whole thing! Ingredients....about $4.00 Time....about 45 minutes photos.....PRICELESS!

For the 4th of July this year we spent the day with our friends the Dorrances and the Sipherds. We swam and BBQ'd and had a great time! Here are som e pics of Mr. Max in his 4th of July duds and his swimming gear :o)

Trip to Vegas, Utah and California

Most of you know that my stepmom Marge passed away recently and Max and I traveled to Utah and California for her funeral. This was Max's first time on an airplane and he was great! We flew to Las Vegas and got to see Eric and Brenda and their family and then it was on to St. George to see dad. Then we traveled to California for the funeral where we got to see Darrell, Jackie & Shea and Shawn. It was fun to see everyone and to be able to visit even though it was such a quick trip! I could shoot myself for not taking a picture of my family since we were all there, but here are some of the pics we did take.
