Party Time!

Max got invited to his first big-kid birthday party. It was Masha's 4th birthday party at the Jump Zone and he had a ball! They have huge bounce houses set up all around and other toys to play on as well. His favorites were the teeter-totter and the air-hockey table. They played and then ate pizza and cake. He loves being around all the other kids and he spends a lot of time watching and observing. I love to watch him as he sits and observes the other kids. He gets such expressions on his face....if only I knew what he was thinking!

Blackberries Yes.....Cantaloupe No!

I gave Max some fresh blackberries and some cantaloupe for breakfast this morning and well....if you look closely you will see that he very neatly set all of the melon on the counter next to his highchair. From looking at the mess on his face it was quite obvious that he LOVED the blackberries, but the melon...not so much! At least he set it aside neatly instead of throwing it all over the floor! Gotta love this kid :o)

Paper Towels....Really????

I love that Max gets such joy out of the simple things in life! He found a roll of papers towells and the fun began!

I have had this wonderful bookcase forever and I decided that I wanted to put the toys for Max that we keep in the lfamily room in baskets so I thought this would be the perfect solution. I LOVE red! So here it is...... a little red paint and some sanding and whalaaaa

My Adventures in Cooking......

I tried a new recepie the other night for dinner from my Cooking Light Magazine. Pita Salad with Cucumber, Fennel and Chicken. It was easy to make and I liked it but Eric was not so sure. Anyway, here is a picture of how it turned out
