Ok, I have been a bad....bad...blogger! I did not realize how long it had been but here I am. We have been having quite the busy summer but having lots of fun, despite the summer heat! Max loves to go to the pool and his favorite thing is to go under the waterfall. We have been spending lots of time in the water with friends at the pool and at the splashpad and are looking forward to trying out the new Hawaii Falls Waterpark that had recently opened up in Roanoke!

Eric is keeping busy with work and with his exercise. He has lost 70+ pounds and is feeling great! We have been working on eating really healthy and so far so good! He also keeps busy with Max as he is daddy's little buddy! He loves to go anywhere and do anything with Eric. They love to go for walks and it is fun for me to send them on grocery shopping trips and to see Max carrying the grocery bags into the house.

I have been keeping busy doing things around the house and trying to keep the weeds in my flowerbed from growing faster then the flowers! I have to do my weeding at 6 am or earlier in order to keep from passing out from heat stroke! I am also teaching a debt reduction/financial management class twice a month in Mesquite for the Texas Workforce Commission. I love being a mom and my little guy keeps my on my toes!I have also been enjoying spending time with friends at playdates and girls night out being creative!

Max is growing like the weeds in my flowerbed! We can't believe he is going to be 3 in just a couple of months! He is tall and skinny but is solid as a rock. He is already almost 3 1/2 feet tall and we have to buy him new shoes every couple of months! He loves to play with his cousins that live here in Texas and all of his little friends! He is talking like crazy and shocks us all the time using complete sentences and phrases. He knows what he wants and does not hesitate to let us know. He likes to dress himself and put his shoes on and he is a big helper with the dishes and the laundry! He never stops moving.......and we never stop chasing him! We love that he is so curious and inquisitive and have decided he is going to be some type of engineer when he grows up because he loves to "tinker" with things and figure out how they work. We are truly blessed!
